Bald neigt sich das Jahr 2022 seinem Ende zu und wir nutzen gerne die Gelegenheit, nicht nur die besten Wünsche für die bevorstehenden Festtage und das kommende Jahr zu überbringen, sondern auch Neuigkeiten zu unseren Tätigkeiten.
Für diese Weihnachten haben wir etwas Spezielles vorbereitet.
Mit Books for Change und der Nepal Youth Foundation konnte eine Projektplanung für die Errichtung der Schulbibliothek für die Shree Tashi Gatsal Gumba Primary School in Bigu, Nepal, erstellt werden.
Sowohl die Schülerinnen und Schüler freuen sich auf ihre nachhaltige Schulbibliothek, als auch die Lehrpersonen, die Schulleitung, die Eltern, die Gemeindebehörden und wir.
Wie es Books for Change gelingt, Schulkindern durch ihre mit Solarpanels gespeisten Schulcomputern in Bibliotheken die weite Welt auch an den abgelegensten Orten Nepals zu eröffnen, ist einfach einmalig und genial. Zudem sind diese sehr speziellen Schulbibliotheken durchaus erschwinglich – gerade im Vergleich zum riesigen Nutzen, den sie für die Dorfschulen in den Bergdörfern Nepals bringen.
Die Schulbibliothek der Shree Tashi Gatsal Gumba Primary School kostet insgesamt CHF 23’289 und wir würden uns sehr über Ihre Unterstützung unseres neusten Projekts freuen!

Dear Sharing Hands, Dear Supporters, Dear Partners
Soon the year 2022 will come to an end and we would like to take the opportunity to bring you not only our best wishes for the upcoming holidays and the coming year, but also news about our activities.
For this Christmas, we have prepared something special.
With Books for Change and the Nepal Youth Foundation, we were able to draw up a project plan for the construction of a school library for the Shree Tashi Gatsal Gumba Primary School in Bigu, Nepal.
The students are as much looking forward to their sustainable school library, as are the teachers, the school administration, the parents, the community authorities and us.
The way Books for Change is able to open up the wide world to school children through their solar panel-powered school computers in libraries, even in the most remote places in Nepal, is simply unique and ingenious. Moreover, these very special school libraries are quite affordable - especially compared to the huge benefits they bring to the village schools in the mountain villages of Nepal. The school library of Shree Tashi Gatsal Gumba Primary School costs a total of CHF 23,289 and we would be very happy about your support of our latest project!
